Reliance Communications (RCom) customers may be able to use 4G services from next month as part of the recently inked spectrum sharing deal with Reliance Jio,RTN Asia reported.
Reliance Jio is likely to launch its services by the end of this month. The report added that Jio's future customers would also be eligible to use RCom's 2G and 3G networks.
Reliance Jio and RCom have a spectrum sharing agreement in the Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh East circles.
The report said that Jio has already created a 4G network in the same band where RCom has 4G spectrum (800 MHz) in these circles.
Reliance Communications, which recently announced merger with Sistema Shyam Teleservices, also plans to launch its own 4G network in the remaining circles by mid 2016
